How does Telemedicine work?
Telemedicine is an alternative delivery of healthcare services that can be provided to you when the doctor is not physically in the office through video conference.
Is Telemedicine for easy simple appointments only?
It is for common, non-emergency conditions that are diagnosable visually by talking to the patient via video call or video conference.

Can medication be prescribed during a Telemedicine visit?
Yes. With the exception of controlled substances, medication can be prescribed or adjusted as per doctor’s determination based on patient’s needs without compromising safety.
Will Telemedicine be as effective as an in person appointment?
It is important to consider and to be aware that not every situation is right for Telemedicine. We will only schedule Telemedicine for appropriate conditions or cases.
Is Telemedicine safe?
Telemedicine is safe. It is an alternative and effective way to extend the delivery of care. Our medical provider can help you determine if Telemedicine is appropriate for your condition. We follow guidelines for Telemedicine to ensure safety and quality. Our medical provider are held to the same standards of care as an in-person visit. Also, same standards for privacy and confidentiality apply.

Is Telemedicine a cheaper approach?
Yes. Telemedicine from your own home is $100.00 per visit. While if you are at our clinic and the doctor is not physically with you in the office, the cost is $120.00 per visit. These rates are for SELF-PAY patients only.
Does insurance health plan cover Telemedicine service?
Yes. We do accept most major insurances. And if you are in the office and being seen on video conference while staff is doing all the test/ procedures advised by the doctor then it will be billed as regular office visit.
Is my privacy protected?
Yes. Our Electronic Medical Record System protects your personal information and complies
with HIPAA regulations.
How do I schedule a visit?
Make an appointment by contacting our office or online, exactly like you would for an in-person visit and we will gladly make an appointment for you.

IMMIGRATION FAQ
What is an Immigration medical exam?
If you are applying for your Green Card ( Permanent Resident) or adjustment of status in the United States, it is required to undergo what is known as an Immigration Medical Examination/Green Card Medical Exam. A civil surgeon who has been designated by the immigration authorities must perform the required medical exam.

What vaccinations are required if you are applying for Immigration physical?
All applicants must be assessed for a number of vaccine preventable diseases during their medical examination. The current diseases listed include tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B, varicella, pneumonia, meningococcal and MMR. Vaccination requirement also varies from age to age. The doctor will determine this based on your medical history and physical examination.
What happens during the Immigration physical examination?
Your immigration examination includes a physical exam, TB skin test and verification of of your vaccination records. The doctor will order lab work for STD testing ( syphilis and gonorrhea ).
How much does the Immigration physical cost?
The cost of the Immigration Physical is $299.00. This includes physical examination, TB skin test and paperwork. Vaccines and lab work are additional charges.
How long will it take before the results and documents are ready?
Your I-693 form will be finalized as soon as you have completed all the requirements. This will also depend on how soon you get your lab work and vaccines ( if applicable ) done.

Will my insurance cover the cost of my Immigration Physical?
No. We ask you to pay in full at the time of service.
Do you process Immigration Physicals for RFE (Request for further evidence) cases?
Yes. With years of experience, our medical provider will ensure a smooth and efficient process of your paperwork.
